Summerfield Community is located in Riverview, just off Big Bend Rd and east of I-75. Summerfield is one of the few communities that do not have CDD fees but offers amenities like swimming pools, fitness center and club with lots of activities. What makes it even more attractive is the proximity to downtown Tampa and McDill and the very affordable home prices. The community was built around Summerfield Crossing Golf Course and Club. Summerfield experienced a rapid growth along with Riverview. Today there are four new shopping centers in the area. In the planning stages are brand new hospital and outdoor shopping mall. Home prices in Summerfield range from $80,000 for a townhome to the $390,000 for a single family home on a large lot. Most homes were built between 1986 and 2007.
